Tucker Carlson

Tucker Carlson is co-host of CNN’s popular and lively political debate program Crossfire.  The freshest face in conservative punditry, Carlson is known for offering audiences a spirited, candid and incisive look into today’s political events, from the White House to the Middle East. Carlson provides insight and commentary “from the right,” as he squares off against James Carville and Paul Begala “from the left.”

Carlson is also a political analyst for CNN, based in the network’s Washington, D.C., bureau.  Before Crossfire, Carlson was co-host of CNN’s Spin Room.

A longtime newspaper and magazine writer, Carlson has covered politics, campaigns, crime and restaurants for dozens of publications, including Esquire, GQ, The Weekly Standard, the New York Times and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Carlson’s book, Politicians, Partisans and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News, was published in September of 2003 and he is scheduled to host a half-hour prime-time weekly series on PBS that will begin airing in June 2004.
